How the house sitting service works
To find you your perfect minder, our service follows these basic steps:
Step 1 – Registration
Choose the method that’s best for you:
Register on-line
Simply fill out the online registration form, which includes information about you and the minder you prefer and include the deposit payment via credit card.
Registration by Fax
You can print out the registration form and fax us your details complete with payment details to 1800 61 64 93.
Registration by Post
Customers who prefer post, or wish to pay by cheque, money order or credit card, can send their completed forms to; Houseminders

Step 2 – Discussing your specific needs
When we receive your application form we will discuss any specifics and ask some questions that our minders may have (for instance some city assignment minders want to know the specific parking arrangements).
Step 3 – Finding you the right houseminder
We (not you) contact our members who most closely match your requirements and talk to them in general terms about the assignment. We do not reveal your identity.
Step 4 – The matching process
We ensure that the timing, location & required duties are suitable to the potential minders. This means that you don’t have to waste your time eliminating those with a timing problem, prior commitments or with allergies certain pets.
Step 5 – The shortlist
We prepare and present for you:
- A shortlist of our minders who most closely match your brief (typically, the best 3 or 4 candidates (individuals, couples or families).
- Their names, credentials & contact numbers.
- In most cases we can shortlist up to three suitable candidates within 72 hours of your request. Please note that during busy periods it may take more than 72 hours.
Step 6 – Your decision
Only at this point do you become directly involved. You interview each candidate – firstly by phone. You can then meet the minder and if you find them to be your ideal candidate, then it’s important to complete a house minding agreement.
There is minimal effort on your behalf.
